When talking about "Promoting the Creative Transformation and Innovative Development of Fine Traditional Chinese Culture" at the Nishan World Confucianism Summit Forum held on September 26, Yang Chaoming, distinguished professor at the Advanced Institute for Confucian Studies, Shandong University, former Deputy Director of the Nishan World Center for Confucian Studies and former Dean of the Confucius Research Institute of China, said that the policy of "creative transformation and innovative development" of fine traditional Chinese culture has been proposed for ten years. If the focus of the first ten years is to "elaborate on why China should follow such a policy", the work China should do in the next ten years after the 20thCPC National Congress should be about "putting such a policy into practice".
